Our Company History

BR Johnson, Inc. was established by Benjamin "Ben" R. Johnson in 1928, marking the beginning of a legacy built on quality and expertise in the building industry. Ben's original product offerings included steel windows, rolling self-storing screens, kitchen cabinets, and Modernfold operable wall partitions - a product line BR Johnson still proudly carries today. Over the decades, the company expanded its portfolio to encompass commercial steel doors, hardware, and a wide range of residential and commercial windows. This dedication to diversity and innovation has solidified BR Johnson's position as a leading provider in the building products industry.

Following in his father's footsteps, Bob Johnson took the helm of the company in 1966 after Ben's passing. Bob, driven by the same core values, instilled a company ethos focused on distributing only the highest quality products within each respective category.
