At K.J. Door Services, Inc., we have a rich history that spans over four decades. Founded in 1983 by Ken Dietterich, our company started as a small operation with a used truck, selling and repairing residential garage doors and openers. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a leading provider of door solutions for both residential and commercial clients.
Our Journey
In the early years, our business flourished, and we expanded our operations. We moved from a laundry room office to a dedicated space in Ken's basement. By 1994, we had a team of five employees, and we were in need of a larger facility. This led us to rent a barn in Harleysville for a warehouse, while keeping our office in Woxall. Although this setup worked for a few years, it soon became clear that we needed a location where both the warehouse and office could be together under one roof.
Our Current Location
In 1998, we made the move to our current location on Route 113 in Franconia Township. This facility has been meticulously renovated and expanded over the years to accommodate our growing needs. Today, we operate from a state-of-the-art facility that houses our offices, warehouses, and showroom.
Services Offered
At K.J. Door Services, Inc., we offer a wide range of services and products. For residential clients, we provide service and repair for garage doors and openers. We also design and install custom garage doors and openers. For commercial clients, we offer service and repair for sectional doors, rolling doors, specialty doors, and operators. Additionally, we provide dock equipment, bathroom partitions, hollow metal doors, locks and hardware, and electronic access solutions.
