Our Story

Windows by Liz was founded by Liz Hawkes, a skilled designer and craftsman with a lifelong passion for sewing and design. Growing up in England, Liz learned to sew at a young age and eventually moved on to dressmaking and window treatments. She is an active member of the Window Coverings Association of America and has earned Certified Window Treatment Workroom status. Liz's dedication to her craft and commitment to excellence have earned her a reputation for exceptional quality and professionalism.

Our Process

Getting started with Windows by Liz is easy. We begin with an initial contact, where you'll complete our contact form to get connected with us. From there, we'll schedule a phone call to discuss your project and arrange a site visit. After the site visit, we'll provide a detailed estimate and timeline for your project. Once we've agreed to collaborate, we'll proceed with the design and fabrication of your custom window treatments and soft furnishings.
